Digital policy is often technically complex, and involves a wide range of stakeholders. If you have just joined MDDI, this website will equip you to appreciate the many facets of any digital problem, help you plan out your strategy for change, and refine your ideas so that you can communicate with MDDI leaders clearly and persuasively.

Why did we start this
​Writing isn't as simple as A B C - and while there are really useful tools like ChatGPT out there already, we want to teach you the things that often go unsaid when you first join MDDI. For example, how does "What is the problem you're trying to solve" translate into an email submission, when problems abound and solutions even more so, as you go up the chain?

And if you came from a technical background and are new to policy writing, we are here to demystify the English language, so that your prompts get the results you actually want. Ever got scolded for writing "For Consideration" when really it should have been "For Approval" or "For Information"??
Here you shall find a wealth of resources, including policy writing guides, glossaries for technical terms, and 1-minute exercises designed to enhance your policy writing proficiency. Our mission is to cultivate a community of adept policy writers who can effectively communicate digital policy issues to key stakeholders and business leaders. There are already many pains in the digital realm - Writing shouldn't be one of them.
